How to Apply Floor Projection Screen Paint
Floor Projection Screen Paint can be applied on existing floor coatings or directly onto bare concrete. By incorporating a fine aggregate into the paint, it can be converted into Anti-Slip Floor Paint.

Step 1 - Surface Prep
Treat new concrete with acid etch. For painted floors, remove loose paint, lightly sand gloss, and clean the surface.

Step 2 - Fix Imperfections
Fill in any holes or cracks using a suitable concrete repair compound and allow it to dry completely.

Step 3 - Apply Paint
Stir the paint well before use. Apply the first coat evenly, then wait at least 10 hours before applying the second coat.

Step 4 - Allow to Dry
The surface will be ready for use 24 hours after the final coat.
NOTE: Avoid applying the paint in cold conditions (below 15°C) to ensure proper curing.

FAQ's
General Product Questions
Where does Floor Projector Screen Paint work best?
Floor Projector Screen Paint is perfect for those wanting to create a projection surface on floors. It has been engineered to be highly resilient against foot traffic and light industrial equipment, like forklifts.
Is Floor Projection Screen Paint anti-slip?
Smart Floor Projector Screen Paint can be applied over existing floor paint, or onto bare concrete (acid washing is recommended for new concrete). It is possible to make it Anti Slip Floor Paint, by adding a fine aggregate to the paint.
What exactly is the gain value?
Gain measures how effectively a screen reflects light, compared to a standard matte white surface with a gain of 1.0. A higher gain produces a brighter image but narrows the viewing angle, while a lower gain offers wider viewing with reduced brightness. The right gain depends on factors like ambient lighting, screen size, projector brightness, and audience seating.
Why is gain vital for projector screens?
Gain influences the brightness of the projected image and the quality of viewing angles. It dictates how well the screen reflects light and affects the clarity and width of the viewing angles.
Does a higher gain always equate to a better image?
No, a higher-gain projector screen does not automatically ensure superior image quality. While it may yield a brighter image from certain angles, it could lead to reduced brightness from other viewpoints. Typically, higher-gain screens have a narrower viewing angle.
What's the difference between Floor Projector Screen Paint and a traditional projector screen?
While a traditional projector screen is a fixed, free-standing or wall-mounted surface designed for vertical projection, Floor Projector Screen Paint transforms any smooth floor into a high-definition projection surface. It offers greater flexibility, a seamless finish, and the ability to cover larger or uniquely shaped areas, making it ideal for immersive, interactive, and ground-level projection experiences that traditional screens simply can't deliver.
Surface Prep & Priming
Is priming necessary before using Floor Projection Screen Paint?
No, priming is not required.
Functionality & Performance
What is the ideal lighting for using Floor Projector Screen Paint?

Does the Floor Projector Screen Paint perform effectively with both 2D and 3D projectors?
Yes, the Floor Projector Screen Paint is suitable for use with both 2D and 3D projectors, ensuring excellent performance no matter the projection style. What surfaces are compatible with Floor Projector Screen Paint?
Floor Projector Screen Paint is designed for use on concrete, wood, tiles, or any smooth surface.
How long does floor projector screen paint last?
Floor Projector Screen Paint is generally durable. When properly applied and maintained, it can last up to 5 years before requiring a refresh or recoat.
Cleaning & Maintenance
How can I remove the paint from my skin?
If contact with skin occurs, wash the affected area with warm, soapy water.
How can I maintain my Floor Projector Screen Paint?
You can wipe the surface clean with warm, soapy water and mild detergents. You may also clean with stronger cleaning chemicals to remove specific traffic marks, but do not leave harsh chemicals on the surface for longer than required.
What should I do if I accidentally spill the paint?
Clean your tools or any spills of Floor Projector Screen Paint using water.
